5 July 2017: Corrosion protection works at Konrad 1 on schedule
Works on the headframe at Konrad 1 continue. Scaffolding has been erected around the headframe and will be surrounded in sections. The reason for this is the application of new corrosion protection on the listed headframe. Works are running to schedule and are progressing. Protection has already been applied to the northern struts of the headframe. Work is currently concentrating on the head of the headframe. Protection of the southern struts will follow. Works should be completed by the end of November.
