Since 9 June 2021, the BGE has been offering its employees vaccinations against COVID-19. The offer is aimed at all employees of BGE and BGE Technology, including those who work through temporary employment agencies. Vaccination against coronavirus is voluntary. The first vaccination appointments will take place at the mine sites in Konrad, Morsleben, and Asse. For the time being, just under 100 vaccine doses are available. These will be distributed among the three sites according to the size of the staff.

On the occasion of the vaccination launch, Stefan Studt, Chair of the Management Board of the BGE explains: “We are happy that it can finally start! The offer is initially aimed at those who do not have the opportunity to work from home”. With the vaccination campaign now under way, the BGE wants to do its part to curb the spread of coronavirus. The BGE has ordered more vaccine doses and hopes that the vaccination campaign can continue steadily.
