Announcement - The BGE invited the participants of the site selection procedure to take part in the opening event in Berlin. In addition to the Federal Minister for the Environment, Barbara Hendricks, the following speakers were invited: Matthias Miersch, Sylvia Kotting-Uhl and Steffen Kanitz, all members of the federal parliament, Ursula Heinen-Esser, Chairwoman of the BGE, Wolfram König, President of the Federal Office for the Safety of Nuclear Waste Management (BfE), and Klaus Töpfer, chairman of the National Support Body.
